BANGALORE: The city will have a heritage commission in the next three to four months. The commission will identify and preserve heritage in Bangalore and later across the state.
Ashwin Mahesh, ABIDe member, speaking at the ‘Bangalore as a creative city’ public consultation organised by Centre for the Study of Culture and Society (CSCS) here on Thursday, said built heritage, cultural and natural heritage needed to be identified, conserved and restored. “The proposed heritage commission intends to do precisely that.
